Bylaw No. 5/2013 - Assessment Appeals Fees - Page 1 of 1 CITY OF YORKTON SASKATCHEWAN BYLAW NO. 5/2013 A BYLAW OF THE CITY OF YORKTON IN THE PROVINCE OF SASKATCHEWAN TO ESTABLISH FEES FOR THE PURPOSES OF ASSESSMENT APPEALS WHEREAS the Council of the City of Yorkton deems it appropriate to establish fees for the purposes of Assessment Appeals; NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Yorkton enacts as follows: 1. That the following assessment appeal fee schedule be established and applied in accordance with Section 196 of The Cities Act: Agricultural- $100.00 per assessed property Non-Arable - $100.00 per assessed property Residential and Condominium - $100.00 per assessed property Multi-unit/Commercial/Elevator and Railway: - $300.00 per assessed property value up to $1,000,000. - $450.00 per assessed property value $1,000,001 - $5,000,000. - $600.00 per assessed property value over $5,000,000. 2. Repealing Bylaw Bylaw No. 8/2009 passed on the 23rd day of February, 2009 is hereby repealed. 3. Effective Date of Bylaw This bylaw shall come into force and take effect on the day of final passing thereof and apply commencing in the assessment year of 2013. ___________________________ MAYOR ___________________________ CITY CLERK Introduced and read a first time this 28th day of January, A.D., 2013.
