## BY-LAW NO. 348
A by-law to set the property tax rate and minimum tax for 2022.
WHEREAS Section 53(2) of the Assessment and Taxation Act Chapter 13, RSY 2002, requires that every municipality shall levy taxes on or before the 15th of April in every year,
NOW THEREFORE the Council for the Village of Mayo, in open meeting assembled, HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. This by-law may be cited as the "2022 Property Tax Rate By-law".
2. There shall be levied upon all taxable real property in the Village of Mayo, a general tax for 2022 at the rate of 1.46 per centum.
3. There shall be levied upon all taxable real property in the Village of Mayo, a minimum tax for 2022 of $100.00.
4. This by-law shall come into force and effect upon the final reading thereof.
5. By-law No. 342 is hereby repealed.
