Village of Teslin Bylaw #24-255 A Bylaw to amend the Village of Teslin Zoning Bylaw #20-243 WHEREAS section 289 of the Municipal Act provides that a zoning bylaw may prohibit, regulate and control the use and development of land and buildings in a municipality; and WHEREAS it is deemed desirable to amend Village of Teslin Zoning Bylaw #20-243; NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Village of Teslin, in open meeting assembled, hereby ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. Bylaw 20-243 is hereby amended by changing the following parcel of land: Legal Address Block 10, Lot 16, Civic Address #9 Jackson Ave, registered to Yukon Housing Corporation, from Village Residential to Commercial, attached as Schedule "A". 2. Council shall give notice of its intention to pass this Bylaw amendment by posting notice in four (4) conspicuous places in the municipality for fourteen (14) consecutive days. 3. Council shall send a copy of the above-mentioned notice to each assessed owner of property within a radius of 100 meters from the property affected by the change in zoning classification and to other assessed property owners who may be affected by this zoning change. 4. Council shall, at the end of the notice period referred to in 2. And prior to giving a third reading to the Bylaw, hold a Public Hearing regarding this Bylaw. 5. This Bylaw shall come into full force and effect upon the final passing. Read a first time this 22nd day of July 2024. Read a second time this 22nd day of July, 2024.
