**The Land Use Ordinance was created and designed to:**
* Guide the future growth and development of the Town Cheswold in accordance with the
**Comprehensive Plan:**
* Promote the health, safety, morals, and general welfare of the community
* Secure safety from fire, panic and other dangers
* Provide adequate light and air
* Facilitate the adequate provision of transportation, water, sewerage, schools, parks and other public requirements
* Conserve the value of land and buildings
* Encourage the most appropriate uses of land
