## NEW Construction Hours per Ordinance 213-23

At its November 9, 2023, meeting, Town Council voted 6-0 to approve Ordinance 213-23, which amended Chapter 42 (Building Construction), specifically with the addition of a stop-work order process, and prohibiting construction work between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. by any contractor or property owner. No construction work shall be performed on any Sunday or observed Federal holiday throughout the entire year -- or any Saturday from May 15 through September 15 -- other than by owners or their family members working on their own properties.
