**Notice of No Election**
The number of qualified candidates submitting letters of intent to serve on the Viola Town
Council (Board of Commissioners) by the deadline did not exceed the number of positions that are expiring.
Therefore, an election is **NOT** required.
The next regularly scheduled Town Meeting will take place Tuesday, April 14th, 2026, at 6:00pm at the Viola Town Hall located on Church Street. See the "Meetings and Events" page for more details.

ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS IN THE TOWN OF VIOLA, INCLUDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS
COMMENTS MAY BE GIVEN AT THE TOWN COUNCIL MEETING ON
TUESDAY, APRIL 8, 2025,
6:00 PM AT TOWN HALL.

## NOTICE OF NO ELECTION - VIOLA BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
**NOTICE OF NO ELECTION**
The number of qualified candidates submitting letters of intent to serve on the Viola Town Council (Board of Commissioners) by the
deadline did not exceed the number of positions that are expiring. Therefore, an election is NOT required.
The next regularly scheduled Town meeting will take place Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Viola Town Hall on Church Street.
## Town of Viola Christmas Decorations Contest
It is that time of year to LIGHT UP Viola for the Holiday Season. The attached flyer provides information regarding the annual Christmas Decoration Contest.
December 4 - registration deadline. Register online at [email protected] . You will receive a reply that your registration was received.
December 11 - Judging by Town Council. Have outside lights on at dark.
December 18 -Winner announced at the Holiday Social at Town Hall at 4:00 pm. Come enjoy hot chocolate, cookies and Christmas Carols. Everyone is welcomed to attend the Social.

## Viola Road Repairs
NOTICE - TOWN OF VIOLA RESIDENTS
After inspection from DelDOT, the five (5) roads in Viola that the Town maintains will start repaving with tar and chip on July 20, 2022. The material to be used will be the same material that DelDOT uses on their tar and chip roads. We apologize for any inconvenience.

place Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at 6:00 PM at the Viola
Town Hall on Church Street.

## Vehicle Crash Incident
At approximately 5:57 AM on May 16, 2021, there was a tragic vehicle collision on South Main Street in town that directly affected two residences. The owner of the 2 residences wants to thank the volunteers that worked so hard to clean up the aftermath of the collision; the families are thankful for a caring community and to those that went above and beyond when needed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends that have been affected by today's events.
