## AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE COLLECTION OF TRASH WITHIN THE TOWN OF WYOMING
BE IT HEREBY ENACTED by the Town Council of the Town of Wyoming, a majority thereof concurring in council duly met, that Ordinance #15-11 "An Ordinance Providing for the Collection of Trash Within the Town of Wyoming" be and hereby is enacted, as follows to wit:
Section 1. Town Council to Contract for Trash Collection Services. On an annual basis, the Town Council shall contract for the provision of trash collection services for the benefit and on behalf of each and every occupied non-commercial real property within the territorial limits of the Town, and the cost of said services shall be included within the annual budget expenses for the Town, to be levied and collected as part of the real property tax assessment against all noncommercial real properties within the territorial limits of the Town.
Section 2. Rules and Regulations. Unless otherwise provided to the contrary herein, the owners of all real property subject to the provisions of this ordinance shall also be subject to and comply with any and all trash collection rules and regulations promulgated from time to time by the Town Council, which rules shall be in accordance with the current trash collection service company with which the Town Council has contracted for trash collection services. A copy of the current rules and regulations in effect may be obtained upon request at town hall.
Section 3. If any provision of this ordinance or the application thereof shall be deemed or declared to be invalid or unenforceable, for any reason whatsoever, such invalidity or unenforceability shall not affect any of the other provisions of this ordinance or the applications thereof which can be given effect without such invalid or unenforceable provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are hereby declared to be severable.
## Synopsis
Pursuant to this ordinance, the Town Council contracts for trash collection services annually and property owners pay for these services as part of their annual real property tax bills. Property owners must comply with any rules set forth by the town or the trash collection company.
This shall certify that this is a true and correct copy of the ordinance duly adopted by the Town Council of the Town of Wyoming at a duly-noticed and convened meeting at which a quorum was present on December 5, 2011.
