BYLAW 921/26
TOWN OF ELK POINT
A BYLAW OF THE TOWN OF ELK POINT, IN THE PROVINCE OF ALBERTA, AUTHORIZING
THE TOWN COUNCIL TO ESTABLISH RATES FOR UTILITY SERVICES PROVIDED BY
TOWN OF ELK POINT FEE.
WHEREAS, Town of Elk Point provides water and wastewater services pursuant to the Utility Bylaw
No. 900/25, which bylaw contemplates the imposition of rates, fees and charges set out tn a fees and
charge bylaw;
WHEREAS, Town of Elk Point provides garbage collection services pursuant to the Garbage Services
Bylaw No. 793/18, which bylaw contemplates the imposition of rates, fees and charges set out in a fees
and charge bylaw;
WHEREAS, the Council of the Town of Elk Point wishes to establish rates, fees and charges for utility
services provided by Town of Elk Point pursuant to the above referenced bylaws as amended or replaced
from time to time, which rates, fees and charges are to take effect on the 1" day of February, 2026; and
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Council of Town of Elk Point, in the Province of Alberta,
in session duly assembled, enacts as follows:
1. This bylaw may be cited as the “Utility Rates Bylaw”
2. The rates, fees and charges payable for water, wastewater and garbage collection services shall
be detailed in Schedule “A”, which is attached to and forms a part of this bylaw.
3. This bylaw comes into force on the 1 day of February, 2026.
