Report an incorrect or outdated answer

Include the GovAnswers page URL, municipality and province or territory, and the statement that needs attention. If available, add the official document link and the relevant section, page, amendment or effective date. This helps us compare the record with the source.

Get help using GovAnswers

Tell us what you were trying to do and what happened. For an AI connection, include the platform name, the approximate time and any error message. Remove private conversation content, passwords, API keys and payment details before sending a screenshot or copied text.

Privacy and personal information

Use the same email address for questions about the privacy policy, or to request access, correction or deletion of personal information held by GovAnswers. Put “Privacy request” in the subject and provide enough context to locate the relevant record, such as an approximate date and page URL.

Do not email government identification or other sensitive documents. If more information is needed to handle a request safely, we will explain what is needed.

Contact the responsible government office

GovAnswers cannot issue a permit, grant an exemption, interpret a rule on a municipality's behalf, accept an official complaint or process a licence application. Use the official municipality or source-document links in an answer to find the responsible office.
