### Opening a utility account
Come to the Town Office or call us at 780-837-2247 two business days prior to your move in date
We will require a $200 utility account fee/deposit prior to the move in date
If you are renting the property, we will require both your signature and the landlord's signature on the utility account form
### Utility Billing
Utility bills are mailed out the first week of each month and are due on the 25th of each month
### Payment Options
In person or by mail at the Town office by cash or cheque
Telephone banking (ATB, Vision Credit Union, BMO, CIBC and Scotia Bank)
E-transfer to [email protected]
### Late Payment Penalty
A 1.5% penalty is applied on utility accounts that remain unpaid after the due date
### Water Disconnection
Services will be disconnected to any customer whose utility bill remains unpaid for 60 days from the date of billing
Before water is reconnected a $100 fee and the total account balance must be paid
### Moving
It is your responsibility to contact the Town office, two business days prior, with your move-out date, and if applicable your new mailing address
You will be responsible for all utility charges up to the move-out date or the date the Town was notified, whichever is later
Your utility account fee/deposit will be applied to your final bill
