Summer Village of Grandview
BYLAW NO. 359
A BYLAW TO AUTHORIZE THE WASTE MANAGEMENT FEES TO BE LEVIED
AGAINST PROPERTIES WITHIN THE SUMMER VILLAGE OF GRANDVIEW, IN THE
PROVINCE OF ALBERTA
Whereas, the Summer Village of Grandview provides wastewater and solid waste services to its
residents, and
Whereas, the Summer Village has made estimates of expenses and reserve allocations for the
operation and maintenance of the Wastewater System including amounts paid to the South
Pigeon Lake Regional Wastewater System.
Whereas, Bylaw 349 provides for Wastewater Fees to be charged annually, and
Whereas, Bylaw 357 provides for Solid Waste Fees to be charged for extra tote carts, and
Now therefore, under the authority of the Municipal Government Act, Council of the Summer
Village of Grandview enacts as follows:
1. That the Chief Administrative Officer is hereby authorized to levy the following Fees on
all residential and commercial properties as shown on the assessment roll of the
Summer Village of Grandview:
A) Wastewater Fees
Developed lots $150/year
Undeveloped lots:
(non- wastewater producing) $45/year
(wastewater producing) $150/year
B) Solid Waste Fees
Extra tote cart $150/year
2. That the Fees indicated in Section 1 shall remain in effect until re-established by a new
Waste Management Fees Bylaw.
3. That Bylaw 352 be repealed upon third and final reading of this Bylaw.
4. That this bylaw shall take effect on the date of the third and final reading.
