BYLAW NO. 2026-01
Master
Fees & Services
Being a Bylaw of the Village of Linden, in the Province
ofAlberta
to establish
rates, fees and
charges
for various
goods,
licenses,
permits and services.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Municipal Government Act, R.S.A. 2000, Chapter M-26, as amended,
a
Municipal Council has the authority to pass Bylaws respecting the Municipality, including services
provided or on behalf of the Municipality; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Municipal Government Act, R.S.A. 2000, Chapter M--26,as amended, a
Municipal Council has authority to govern and the authority to pass Bylaws respecting the
Municipality, including establishing fees for licenses, permits and approvals that are higher for
persons or businesses
who do not reside or maintain a place of business
in the Municipality; and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Council has deemed it appropriate to establish rates, fees and charges
for the various licenses, permits, goods and services, provided by the Village of Linden; and
NOW THEREFORE, the Municipal Council of the Village of Linden, in the Province of Alberta, duly
assembled,
hereby enacts as follows:
1. This Bylaw shall be cited as the Master Rates Bylaw.
2.
The annual rates, fees and charges for various goods, licenses, permits and services shall
be established
as per Schedule "",Aattached to and forming part of this Bylaw.
3.
Master Rates Bylaw 2024-05 is hereby repealed effective upon third reading.
4.
This Bylaw shall take effect January 1, 2026.
