In the Town of Milk River, Alberta, fences & pool enclosures rules are set by Town of Milk River Land Use Bylaw No. 997 (consolidated to Bylaw No. 1017), verified 2026-09-27. A permit is required. Max height rear side: 1.83 m (6 ft). Pool enclosure: Any private swimming pool with a design depth greater than 0.6 m (2 ft) shall be constructed and fenced in accordance with Safety Codes requirements.
