## Planning and Development Permits
Fee Schedule
##### All construction, demolition, and renovation projects undertaken on residential and commercial properties require municipal approval.
##### Permit and Development Information
Most construction projects begin with a Municipal Development Permit, this permit is free and ensures your project meets the Land Use Bylaw. Once approved by the Development Officer or Municipal Planning Commission (MPC), you can move on to the Building Permit Application, handled by Palliser Regional Municipal Services and Superior Safety Codes.
* Some agricultural buildings are exempt from needing a building permit, but a sign-off form must be completed and approved before starting construction.
* Property owners should also review the residential and commercial checklists to understand other building and renovation requirements.
* For subdivisions, start with the Subdivision Application Form. Be sure to include all required documents. This form must be submitted directly to Palliser Regional Municipal Services--the MD of Acadia becomes involved later in the process.
