Livestock/poultry keeping is tied to parcel size via 'animal/bird units' (15 chickens, 10 ducks/geese, or 3 sheep/goats = 1 unit) and only allowed where the Land Use Bylaw permits it, on residential/agricultural parcels 0.81ha (2 acres) or larger, with more units allowed on bigger parcels.
