SUMMER VILLAGE OF SEBA BEACH
BYLAW #05-2025
A BYLAW OF THE SUMMER VILLAGE OF SEBA BEACH, IN THE PROVINCE OF ALBERTA FOR THE PURPOSE OF
REPEALING THE SUMMER VILLAGE'S CURRENT LAND USE BYLAW (BYLAW 2-2008, AS AMENDED), AND
ADOPTING A NEW LAND USE BYLAW FOR THE SUMMER VILLAGE OF SEBA BEACH PURSUANT TO THE MUNICIPAL
GOVERNMENT ACT AND AMENDMENTS THERETO.

WHEREAS, the Council of the Summer Village of Seba Beach has deemed it advisable to enact a Land Use Bylaw
pursuant to Section 640 of the Municipal Government Act R.S.A. 2000, c. M-26, as amended for the purpose of
directing the use and development of land and buildings within the Summer Village; and
AND WHEREAS, the Land Use Bylaw has been prepared for the Summer Village of Seba Beach based on Council's
direction, public input, policies in the Summer Village's statutory plans, and other relevant information; and
AND WHEREAS, notification of this Bylaw was circulated to landowners as per section 606 of the Municipal
Government Act R.S.A. 2000, c. M-26, as amended; and
AND WHEREAS, the Council of the Summer Village of Seba Beach deems it desirable and appropriate to adopt an
updated Land Use Bylaw; and
AND WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on June 7, 2025, at the Seba Beach Pavilion.
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Summer Village of Seba Beach, duly assembled and pursuant to the
authority conferred upon it by the Municipal Government Act R.S.A. 2000, c. M-26 as amended ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That Bylaw 05-2025 entitled the 'Summer Village of Seba Beach Land Use Bylaw' as per Schedule A
attached, is hereby adopted.
2. That Bylaw 05-2025 shall come into full force and effect when it receives third reading by Council and has
been signed by the Mayor and CAO or designate as per Section 213 of the Municipal Government Act
R.S.A. 2000, c. M-26, as amended.
3. That Bylaw 05-2025, as amended, being the previous Land Use Bylaw of the Summer Village of Seba
Beach, is hereby repealed.
