SUMMER VILLAGE OF SEBA BEACH
BYLAW NO. 06-2026
BEING A BYLAW FOR THE PURPOSE OF AMENDING THE SUMMER VILLAGE OF SEBA BEACH
LAND USE BYLAW NO. 05-2025
WHEREAS the Municipal Government Act, RSA 2000 c M-26, authorizes a council to pass bylaws for
municipal purposes respecting planning authorities within Summer Village of Seba Beach; and
WHEREAS Section 692 of the Municipal Government Act, RSA 2000 c M-26, the council of a municipality is
authorized to amend a Land Use Bylaw; and
WHEREAS Section 692 of the Municipal Government Act, RSA 2000 c M-26, requires the council of a
municipality to hold a public hearing and advertise such a bylaw in accordance with Section 216.4 and
Section 606 of the Act, respectively;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Summer Village of Seba Beach duly assembled and under the
authority of the Municipal Government Act, RSA 2000 c M-26, as amended, hereby amends the Summer
Village of Seba Beach Land Use Bylaw as follows:
1. That Section 9.1 Accessory Buildings and Uses be amended by changing the following height
restrictions for accessory buildings to:
9.1.2 In residential districts, all accessory buildings, including detached garages and guest
houses (garage suites and garden suites) shail be located according to the following:
d. An accessory building shall not be more that 9.0 m (29.5ft.) in height.
2. Should any provision of this Bylaw be deemed invalid then such invalid provision will be severe,
from this Bylaw, and such severance will not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this
Bylaw, except to the extent necessary to give effect to such severance.
3. This Bylaw shall come into force and take effect on the day of third reading and signing thereof.

READ a third time and finally passed this 19" day of June 2026.
