BYLAW NO. 21-27 OF THE TOWN OF STRATHMORE IN THE PROVINCE OF ALBERTA
BEING A BYLAW OF THE TOWN OF STRATHMORE IN THE PROVINCE OF ALBERTA TO AMEND THE TOWN OF STRATHMORE SAFETY CODES BYLAW NO. 10-01.
WHEREAS the Safety Codes Act, R.S.A., c. S-1 and amendments thereto provides authority for the Town to regulate such matters;
AND WHEREAS the Municipal Council of the Town of Strathmore deems it desirable to regulate the fee structure for building permit applications within the Town of Strathmore;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Municipal Council of the Town of Strathmore duly assembled, HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
- 1.0 That Bylaw No. 10-01 be amended by replacing schedule "A" with the following:
## "Schedule A
Building Permit Fees and Services (Effective January 1, 2022)
| Residential, projects Commercial, Industrial, Additional Safety Codes Levy | Institutional $9.00 per $1,000 of Project Value 4.0% of Permit Fee, Minimum $4.50, Maximum $560.00 (Project Value is based on the actual cost of material and labour. Verification of costs may be requested prior to permit issuance.) |

## 2.0 EFFECTIVE DATE
- 2.1 This bylaw shall come into full force and effect upon third and final reading.
