Timeline and Steps for Development Applications
## After Submitting Your Development Application
Once you have submitted a **completed** development application that has sufficient information for the contracted Development Officer, the contracted Development Officer will review it and issue a *Notice of Decision*. Please note that, under legislation, the review and decision process can take up to 40 days.

After receiving your *Notice of Decision*, you must contact IJD Inspections Ltd**.** and provide them with your approved drawings and required documentation.
IJD Inspections ensures that all developments comply with the Alberta Safety Codes.
Depending on your project, you or your contractor(s) will need to obtain additional permits, which may include:
* Building Permits
* Electrical Permits
* Plumbing Permits
* Private Sewer Permits
* Gas Permits
Please note there are fees associated with these permits, which are payable directly to IJD Inspections Ltd.

Failure to comply with the Summer Village's statutory plans and bylaws may result in:
