BYLAW NO. 05.24
BEING A BYLAW FOR THE PURPOSE OF ESTABLISHING VARIOUS FEES, RATES
AND CHARGES FOR GOODS AND SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE MUNICIPALITY
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Municipal Government Act, R.S.A. 2000, c M-26, and amendments
thereto, a Municipality has the authority to establish fees and charges for the provision of goods and
services provided by or on behalf of the Municipality.
AND WHEREAS, pursuant to the Municipal Government Act, R.S.A. 2000, c M-26, and amendments
thereto, Council may pass a bylaw for the establishment of fees for licenses, permits and approvals
as established by Council.
AND WHEREAS, Yellowhead County wishes to establish a fees, rates and charges bylaw.
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of Yellowhead County in the Province of Alberta, duly assembled,
hereby enacts as follows:
1. TITLE:
1.1. This Bylaw shall be cited as the Yellowhead County "Fees Bylaw."
2. APPLICATION:
2.1. This bylaw establishes the rates, fees and charges for certain goods and services provided
by Yellowhead County.
2.2. This bylaw and the attached schedules will be reviewed as required, and amendments to any
of the rates and fees must be made by bylaw of Council in accordance with section 191(2) of
the Municipal Government Act.
2.3. All fees, fines, rates and penalties provided for in other current bylaws shall remain in full
force and effect and may be charged in addition to the provisions stated in this Bylaw.
3. FEES:
3.1. The fees and rates are established in the attached Schedules "A" through "J" and form part
of this Bylaw:

3.2. The payment of all fees and charges must be received prior to the information or services
being developed and provided.
4. SEVERABILITY
4.1. Should any provisions of this Bylaw become invalid, void, illegal or otherwise not enforceable,
it shall be considered separate and severable from the bylaw, and the remainder shall remain
in full force and effect as though such provision had not been included.
5. REPEALED
5.1. That Bylaw 18.15 and any amendments thereto be and are hereby repealed.
6. EFFECTIVE DATE
6.1. This bylaw shall come into force and effect on the third and final reading thereof.
