A Bylaw to amend Bowen Island Municipality Fees and Charges Bylaw No.651, 2024
WHEREAS, "Bowen Island Municipality Fees and Charges Bylaw No. 651, 2024" specifies fees and charges for
services and information in Schedules attached to and forming part of the bylaw;
AND WHEREAS, Council wishes to amend "Bowen Island Municipality Snug Cove Sewer Regulation Bylaw No. 46,
2002" to include provisions for the enforcement of the "Bowen Island Municipality Snug Cove Sewer Regulation
Bylaw No. 46, 2002."
THEREFORE, the Council of Bowen Island Municipality, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:
1. This bylaw may be cited for all purposes as "Bowen Island Municipality Fees and Charges Bylaw No.651,
2024, Amendment Bylaw No. 704, 2026".
2. "Bowen Island Municipality Fees and Charges Bylaw No.651, 2024" is amended by:
1. Adding the following Schedule:
Schedule C - Bowen Island Municipality Snug Cove Sewer Regulation Bylaw No. 46, 2002
READ A FIRST TIME this 13th day of July, 2026;
READ A SECOND TIME this 13th day of July, 2026;
READ A THIRD TIME this this 13th day of July, 2026;
RECONSIDERED AND FINALLY ADOPTED this 27th day of July, 2026;

Fees & Charges
Sewer Connection Fees:
1. Connection fee: $2,000.00
2. Inspection:
For new construction, included in the Building Permit or Connection fees.
In other cases, an hourly charge determined by the Municipality and based on the
cost of providing the inspection service.
3. Services required to building sewer or cleanout:
An hourly charge determined by the Municipality and based on the cost of providing
the inspection service.
