THE CORPORATION OF THE DISTRICT OF KENT
BYLAW NO. 1717.02
"A Bylaw to amend fhe Fees and Charges Bylaw No. 1717, 2024"
WHEREAS pursuant to Section 194 of the Community Charter, Council may, by bylaw,
impose a fee payable in respect of all or part of a service of the municipality;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the District of Kent, in open meeting
assembled, enacts as follows:
1. CITATION:
This Bylaw may be cited forall purposes as "Fees and Charges Bylaw Amendment
No. 1717 .02,2024" and comes into effect on the date of adoption unless otherwise
specified.
2. FEES AND CHARGES:
That the "Fees and Charges Bylaw No. 1717,2024" be amended by replacing the
following schedules as attached hereto and forming part of this bylaw:
Schedule A - Development Applications, Permits and Fees
Schedule B - Bylaw Permits and Fees
Schedule D - Parks and Recreation Fees
Schedule E - Office Administration and Miscellaneous Fees
3. SEVERABILIW
lf any section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase of this bylaw is, for any
reason, held to be invalid by the decision of any court of competent jurisdiction, the
invalid portion shall be severed and the decision that it is invalid shall not affect the
validity of the remainder of this bylaw.
