# Burning Permits
Burning within the Village of Sayward is not permitted without a valid Burning Permit issued by the Sayward Volunteer Fire Department Fire Chief. Permits are only issued during times when there is no Fire Ban and only if all other options have been considered (chipping, branch bin in recycling centre) and if conditions are favourable.
To apply for a Burning Permit please fill out the form HERE and return to the Village office either by e-mail, mail, or by hand. Permits have a $50 fee.
