DISTRICT OF STEWART
WATER FRONTAGE TAX RATE AMENDING BYLAW NO. 1018, 2024
A Bylaw to amend Bylaw 886, 2015, a bylaw to impose a frontage tax on owners of land
pursuant to the provisions of the COMMUNITY CHARTER for the purpose of the provision of
water services.
WHEREAS Council has resolved to amend the annual water frontage tax rate;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the District of Stewart, in open meeting assembled, enacts
as follows:
1. That section 4 (2) of the “Water Frontage Tax Bylaw No. 886 , 2015” is hereby amended
to read:
The annual rate shall be two dollars and fifty cents ($2.50) per foot of taxable
frontage.
CITATION
2. This Bylaw may be cited as the “District of Stewart Water Frontage Tax Rate Amending
Bylaw No.1018,2024”
3. “District of Stewart Water Frontage Tax Rate Amending Bylaw No. 907, 2017” is hereby
repealed
