THE CORPORATION OF THE VILLAGE OF WARFIELD BYLAW #940 A BYLAW TO ESTABLISH MISCELLANEOUS FEES AND CHARGES WHEREAS pursuant to the Community Charter SBC Chap. 26, the Council of the Village of Warfield may, by bylaw impose fees for the use of municipal property and or in respect of all or part of a munic- ipal service, AND WHEREAS the Community Charter SBC Chap. 26 authorizes the Council of the Village of Warfield to establish variations, terms and conditions, AND WHEREAS the Council of the Village of Warfield is desirous of setting fees for the provision of administrative costs and other services; NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Village of Warfield, in open meeting assembled, hereby ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: SHORT TITLE 1. (1) This Bylaw may be cited as the "Village of Warfield Miscellaneous Fees and Charges Bylaw No. 940, 2023". PRESCHOOL FEES 2. (1) The Preschool Fee Schedule as set out in Miscellaneous Fees and Charges Bylaw 909, 2022 is hereby deleted and replaced with fees as set out in Schedule 'A' attached to and forming part of this Bylaw. Such fees shall take effect on July 1, 2023 and remain in place unless amended. WARFIELD POOL -- LANE RENTAL 3. (1) The fees to rent one lane of the pool at the prescribed time for lap swimming shall be $15 per hour for up to 3 people. Additional swimmers: $2.50 per person. DEVELOPMENT FEES 4. (1) The Development Fee Schedule A as set out in Development Approval Procedures and Ap- plication Fees Bylaw 781, 2012 is hereby deleted and replaced with fees as set out in Sched- ule 'B' attached to and forming part of this Bylaw. ENACTMENT 5. (1) Ifany section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase of this Bylaw is for any reason held to be invalid by the decision of any court of competent jurisdiction, the invalid portion shall be severed and the part that is invalid shall not affect the validity of the re- mainder. (2) This Bylaw shall come into full force and effect on final adoption.
