The Mid-West Planning District is comprised of three municipalities (Prairie View, Hamiota, Oakview), each of which have their own Building and Zoning By-Laws. Zoning By-Laws are the means by which the municipal Council will carry out the intent of the Development Plan for land use and development purposes. This is done through specific regulations and standards, for matters ranging from permitted and conditional land uses within each zone, building setback requirements, lot area and width requirements, site coverage requirements, sign and fencing requirements, and much more. **Prairie View Municipality** Consolidated Zoning By-Law 2018-15 with Amendments (February 2026) Building By-Law 2016-03 **Hamiota Municipality** Consolidated Zoning By-Law 2019-04 with Amendments Building By-Law 2024-03 **Rural Municipality of Oakview** Zoning By-Law 2019-3 Building By-Law 2016-2 Skip back to main navigation
