BEING A BY-LAW OF THE RURAL MUNICIPALITY OF McCREARY TO AMEND THE RURAL MUNICIPALITY OF McCREARY ZONING BY-LAW NO. 2004-03, AS AMENDED
WHEREAS, Section 80(1) of The Planning Act gives the Council of a municipality the power to amend an adopted Zoning By-Law;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Rural Municipality of McCreary in meeting duly assembled, enacts as follows:
-To amend the Agricultural General Zone Use and Bulk Table list of permitted or conditional uses.
-That Table 4-1: "AG" Agricultural General Zone - Use and Bulk Table attached to and being part of the Rural Municipality of McCreary Zoning By-law No.06/2004 is hereby amended in order that:
PART 4: Use and Bulk Table
TABLE 4-1: Agricultural General Zone Use Table attached hereto as Schedule "A," and forming part of this By-Law, be amended:
FROM: A maximum of one dwelling unit per site or parcel of land, except
for dwelling units which are required for employees or family members, who in the opinion of Council, will be actively involved in an agricultural operation
TO:Add Secondary Suites as a Permitted Use "AG" Agricultural General Zone
DONE AND PASSED as a By-Law of the Rural Municipality of McCreary in the Province of Manitoba this 15th day of September 2026.
