RURAL MUNICIPALITY OF SPRINGFIELD
Notice of Change in Utility Rates
The Rural Municipality of Springfield applied to the Public Utilities Board for revised rates for
the Springfield Water and Wastewater Utility, as set out in By-Law No. 25-08, read the first
time on May 20, 2025. Utility rates were last approved in 2022 by Board Order No. 3/22,
with current rates coming into effect January 1, 2024.
The Public Utilities Board approved revised rates in Board Order No. 140/26, as shown
below. The rates effective October 1, 2026 will appear on water and wastewater billings
mailed at the beginning of January, 2027.
