THE RURAL MUNICIPALITY OF VICTORIA BEACH
BY-LAW NO. 1345
A by-law of the Rural Municipality of Victoria Beach to authorize the erecti
and maintenance of traffic control signs and to control and prohibit the parking
vehicles.
WHEREAS Subsection 90(1) of The Highway Traffic Act empowers a municipal
council as the traffic authority to prohibit the stopping, starting or parking of
vehicles and to erect and maintain traffic control signals or signs.
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Rural Municipality of Victoria Beach deems it
necessary to prohibit the stopping, starting or parking of vehicles and to erect
and maintain traffic control signals and signs within the municipality.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Rural Municipality of Victoria Beach, in
Council assembled, enacts as follows:
(1) THAT traffic control signs be erected and maintained in such locations |
referred to in Schedule "A" attached hereto.
(2) THAT parking restrictions be imposed within such areas as are referred
in Schedule "B" attached hereto, and that "No Parking" signs be erected
and maintained in said areas.
(3) 'THAT the municipal public works employees are hereby authorized and
instructed to erect and to maintain such traffic control signs or signa
as are referred to in said Schedules "A" and "B" attached hereto.
(4) THAT BY-law No.'s 995, 1075, 1125 and 1143 are hereby repealed.
DONE AND PASSED in Council assembled in the City of Winnipeg, in the Province
of Manitoba, this 21st day of June A.D. 1994.
