A fence may be erected only after Council has issued a permit in writing, and no fence may be erected or repaired except in accordance with these regulations. Unless Council specifies otherwise, the maximum height of a fence is 1.8 m (6 feet). No fence may be erected less than 4.8 m (16 feet) from the centre of any street
