Defines a fence as requiring a Council development permit. At street intersections, 15m (arterial/collector) or 8m (local) sight triangles, and 6m driveway sight triangles, must be kept free of fences, hedges, trees or structures over 1.0m high.
Fences must be kept in good repair and free of hazards. A fence may not extend past the building line where it would reduce visibility at a street/intersection; ornamental fences/hedges up to 750mm are exempt from that sight-line rule.
