## Purpose:
By-Law of the Town of Salmon Cove for direction of senior staff and council regarding all permits.
## Authority:
As per motion on the 18th day of February, in the year 2025.
## Motion 025-065
Motion to accept the By-Law for Building Permits.
## By-Law:
As per normal practices of the Town of Salmon Cove, building permits shall be reviewed by the Public Works Committee and the Maintenance personnel to bring forth recommendations to an Open Council Meeting.
All other building permits (small sheds or garages) are to be brought before council for information purposes only. There is a maximum allotted size for outbuildings of 24 feet by 48 feet. Permits for outbuildings larger in size will be required to submit a special request to Council for permission.
No resident/property owner in the Town of Salmon Cove shall receive a building permit for current years development until taxes from all prior year(s) is current.
## Effective Date:
This By-Law shall come into effect on the 18th of February 2025.
