Permits require fire-department inspection. Permit-exempt enclosed wood-burning appliances must be non-combustible, ≤0.46 m², 4.5 m from structures, attended by adult with extinguisher. Permitted fires max 1.5 m², 15 m from brush; prohibited during high-fire-weather or high winds. Amended most recently July 2024.
