The following is published in accordance with the provision of Section 113(1) (a) & (b) of the Towns and Local Service Districts Act
and adopted by resolution at a duly convened Council Meeting on December 11, 2025.
The following taxes will be imposed for the year 2026:
Property Tax Rates:

7.5 mil (minimum tax $360.00)

$125.00 per parcel
Water & Sewer Service Tax Rates:
Residential
$33.33 per month ($400 per year)
Water only
$25.00 per month
Commercial/School
$4.25 per occupant
Vacant Land
$200 per parcel (5,000 square feet
and above and 250 feet or less
from the nearest main.)

*Municipal taxes are due in full by March 31, 2026
*Only payment made in Canadian currency will be accepted.
*In 2020 the Town will add a 5% penalty to residents who do not pay their municipal taxes in full or arrange a monthly payment plan
by March 31, 2026. The Town now requires residents to use fixed monthly payments methods; such as postdated cheques or email
transfer at [email protected]. Please see Clerk to set up payment options.
*Please note that we will no longer be accepting AMEX payments for taxes.
