Hobby-scale 'accessory agriculture' alongside a dwelling is allowed with conditions in residential zones such as Residential Centre (R) and Hamlet Residential; where it includes livestock, only one accessory structure of up to 20 sq m may house the animals, and owners must fence adequately under the provincial Fences and Detention of Stray Livestock Act.
