Bylaw 2018-08 bans smoking (cigarettes, cigars, pipes, electronic smoking devices; smoking includes vaporizers and cannabis) on all Village property: buildings and their grounds, Village vehicles, parks, playgrounds, greenspace and sports fields (Appendix A list). Exemptions for cultural or ceremonial tobacco use and designated staff smoking areas. Fines $250 first offence, $500 after.
