THE CORPORATION THE TOWN OF BANCROFT
BY-LAW NO. 97-2021
Being a By-Law to Amend Schedule "A"
of By-Law No. 44-2006, being a By-Law to
Adopt Water and Waste Water Rates.
WHEREAS the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft operates and maintains a water
supply and distribution system, and a wastewater collection and treatment system;
AND WHEREAS the Municipal Council of the Town of Bancroft deems is necessary
and expedient to update the water and waste water rates for the year 2022, in
accordance with the rates set out in the study by Watson and Associates;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
BANCROFT HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT Schedule "A" of By-Law No. 44-2006, be hereby amended as follows:
For 2022, the Base Monthly Charges, Metered Monthly Rates and Flat
Rate Charge for Water will be subject to a three (3.0%) percent increase
over the 2021 rates for the same;
AND
For 2022, the Base Monthly Charges, Metered Monthly Rates and Flat
Rate Charge for Waste Water will be subject to a three (3.0%) percent
increase over the 2021 rates for the same.
2. THAT the rates set out in Schedule "A", as amended, attached hereto and
forming an integral part of this By-Law, shall be effective as of January 1st,
2022.
3. THAT the Mayor and Acting Clerk be and are hereby authorized to sign this
By-Law and affix the corporate seal thereto.
4. THAT this By-Law is enacted upon the third and final reading hereof.
Read a first, second and third time, and finally passed, signed, sealed, and numbered
By-Law No. 97-2021, this 14th, day of December 2021.
