THE CORPORATION THE TOWN OF BANCROFT
BY-LAW NO. 04-2022
Being a By-Law to Amend Schedule "A"
of By-Law 97-2021, Being a By-Law to
Amend Schedule "A" of By-Law No. 44-
2006, being a By-Law to Adopt Water and
Waste Water Rates.
WHEREAS the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft operates and maintains a water
supply and distribution system, and a wastewater collection and treatment system;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bancroft updated the
water and waste water rates for the year 2022 by By-Law 97-2021, in accordance
with the rates set out in the study by Watson and Associates;
AND WHEREAS in Schedule "A" to By-Law No. 97-2021 there was a technical error
under heading Metered Monthly Rates, subheading Waste Water Rates - Flat Waste
Water Rate (Annual);
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
BANCROFT HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT Schedule "A" of By-Law No. 97-2021 be amended under heading
Metered Monthly Rates, subheading Flat Waste Water Rate (Annual) and shall
read as follows:
Waste Water Rates
Rate
2022
Waste Water Per Cubic Meter Rate
$ 6.22
Flat Waste Water Rate (Annual)
$ 1,021.48
2. THAT the Mayor and Acting Clerk be and are hereby authorized to sign this
By-Law and affix the corporate seal thereto.
3. THAT this By-Law is enacted upon the third and final reading hereof.
Read a first, second and third time, and finally passed, signed, sealed, and numbered
By-Law No. 04-2022, this 11th, day of January, 2022.
