In the Town of Caledon, Ontario, street obstruction: No person shall erect, plant, place or continue, or cause to be erected, planted, placed or continued an encroachment on public land.; sidewalk or boulevard use: shall not be planted in, or overhang a shoulder, sidewalk or roadway; shall not exceed one hundred (100) centimetres in height; fines: to a minimum fine of $500 and to a maximum fine of $100,000; daily minimum $500 maximum $10,000; street obstruction: No person shall commence work requiring occupation or obstructing of a highway until a Permit is obtained..
