THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF DESERONTO
BY-LAW NUMBER 49-20
BEING A BY-LAW TO AMEND THE CURRENT FEE BY LAW AND TO ESTABLISH
THE FEE STRUCTURE FOR SERVICES RENDERED BY THE STAFF OF THE
CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF DESERONTO
WHEREAS the Municipal Act 2001, provides that every municipality shall provide a list
of services available and the amount of compensation for those services rendered;
AND WHEREAS Council has agreed to establish and maintain the Fee schedule as
attached on Schedules A, B, C, D, E, F,G, H and I for the Departments within the Town
of Deseronto;
AND WHEREAS the Council hereby authorizes the staff of the Town of Deseronto to
apply the fees in accordance with Schedules A to I as attached for the services as
listed;
NOW THEREFORE the municipal Council of the Corporation of the Town of Deseronto
ENACTS as follows:
1. That Schedule "A" being a list of charges for the Administration and Clerk's office for
services provided to residents be adopted as presented;
2. That Schedule "B" being a list of charges for services rendered for the Treasurer's
office be adopted as presented;
3. That Schedule "C" being a list of charges for the Building and Planning Department,
in addition to the charges set out in the Joint Building Services By law #1209-18 be
adopted as presented;
4. That Schedule "D" being a list of charges for services provided for the Public Works
Department be adopted as presented;
5. That Schedule "E" being a list of charges for the Recreation, Community Centre and
Parks Department including public hall rentals be adopted as presented;
6. That Schedule "F" being a list of charges for the Fire Department be adopted as
presented;
8. That Schedule "G" being a list of charges for the Deseronto Cemetery be adopted as
presented;
9. That Schedule "H" being a list of charges for the Deseronto Transit be adopted as
presented;
10. That Schedule "I" being a list of charges for the Water & Sewer Department be
adopted as presented;
This By-Law shall come into force and take effect immediately on the passing thereof
and rescind by-law 53-19 and:
