Standalone fence by-law. In residential zones a fence may be at most 2 m (6.6 ft) along rear and side lot lines, and any fence in a front yard must be less than 1.2 m (4 ft) and of open construction. In commercial zones the rear/side maximum is 1.8 m (6 ft), with the same under-1.2 m open-construction rule in
