THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF GORE BAY
BY-LAW NO. 2021-09
BEING A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW NO. 2020-39
BEING THE BY-LAW TO PROHIBIT AND REGULATE
NOISE WITHIN THE TOWN OF GORE BAY
WHEREAS By-Law No. 2020-39 was adopted by Council on December 14, 2020;
AND WHEREAS amendments are required at the request of the Ministry of the
Attorney General;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN
OF GORE BAY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the following amendments be made to By-Law No. 2020-39:
a) Remove Item 12, Provision creating or defining offence that reads 2.1.9
b) Replace Item 12, Provision creating or defining offence to read 2.2.9
c) Remove Item 16 which reads Cause/Permit Noise - shouting during
prohibited times.
2. THAT this by-law shall come into force and take effect on the final date of
passing hereof.
READ A FIRST, SECOND, THIRD TIME, AND FINALLY PASSED THIS 12th
DAY OF APRIL, 2021.
