THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF GRAVENHURST
BY-LAW NO. 2024-14
Being a By-law to Amend By-law No. 2018-26, being a By-law to
Require the Licensing and Control of Dogs Within the Town of Gravenhurst
WHEREAS Administration concludes that the Licensing and Control of Dogs By-law and Schedule 'A'
be review;
AND WHEREAS the Town of Gravenhurst User Fees and Charges By-law 2023-119 includes 2024
Dog Licensing Fees within Schedule 1, therefore; the requirement for the setting of fees for the
licensing of dogs, including dangerous dog licenses and replacement dog licenses is no longer
required to be incorporated within Section 2 and Schedule 'A' of By-law 2018-26;
AND WHEREAS Administration concludes that Section 2 of By-law 2018-26 is to be amended to
include wording refencing the requirements of fees for dog licenses, including dangerous dog
licenses and replacement dog licenses, as per the Town of Gravenhurst User Fees and Charges By-
law 2023-119, as amended from time to time, Schedule 1.
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF GRAVEN HURST
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That Section 2. 7 of By-law 2018-26 be repealed:

The fee charged for issued dog tags shall be provided for in Schedule 'A'
of this By-law.
2. That Section 2.0 of By-law 2018-26 be amended to include:

The fee charged for issued dog licenses, replacement licenses and
dangerous dog licenses shall be provided for within Schedule 1 of the
Town of Gravenhurst Fees and Service Charges By-law, as amended
from time to time.
3. That Section 2.8 of By-law 2018-26 be repealed.
4. That Schedule 'A' of By-law 2018-26 be repealed.
