# Winter Overnight Parking Ban From December 1 to March 31 between midnight and 7 a.m. you cannot park your vehicle on any: * roadway * highway * laneway or * side street. This is to allow the City to be able to effectively clear snow and keep our roadways safe for motorists. This by-law is enforced seven days a week. If you are parked in violation of this by-law you will be ticketed and your vehicle may be towed if it is impeding snow removal. If your vehicle has been towed, please call 311 for information. ### Overnight Parking By-law Enforcement Suspended on Key Holiday Dates City Council has approved an amendment to the parking by-law to allow vehicles to park on local roadways and in municipal parking lots from 12:01 a.m. to 7 a.m. on December 25 (Christmas Day), December 26 (Boxing Day) and January 1 (New Year's Day) of each year. Residents are asked to be mindful of any snow removal requirements on these nights.
