# Property Taxes
Property taxes help fund services, infrastructure, and programs provided by the Township of Huron-Kinloss, the County of Bruce, and local school boards.
Find information about tax due dates, payment options, your property tax account, and how your tax bill is calculated.
## 2026 Property Tax Due Dates
Property tax bills are issued twice each year and paid in four instalments.
Mark these dates on your calendar to help avoid missed payments:
* **March 2, 2026** -- Interim tax bill, first instalment
* **June 1, 2026** -- Interim tax bill, second instalment
* **September 1, 2026** -- Final tax bill, first instalment
* **December 1, 2026** -- Final tax bill, second instalment
Payments must be received by the Township by the due date to avoid late payment penalties.
