# Waste Collection
The Town of Kapuskasing provides regular residential waste collection to ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained community.
Collection days vary by neighbourhood. Please refer to the map below to find your designated waste collection day.
### Collection Schedule
* Residential waste is collected once per week, according to your area.
* Waste collection occurs on statutory holidays, with the exception of Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
* Residents are asked to place waste at the curb by7:00 a.m. on their scheduled collection day.
### Helpful Reminder
Proper waste sorting helps reduce landfill use and supports Kapuskasing's environmental goals. Residents are encouraged to make use of recycling and composting services whenever possible.
### Missed collection day?
Was your waste bin not collected? Make sure to leave 3 feet between your recycling carts when positioning at roadside.
