In the City of Kenora, Ontario, standards: Waste, inoperative motor vehicles, nuisances, weeds >20cm, unsafe containers, improper storage of domestic materials in front yards prohibited; enforcement: Owner must repair/maintain to conform with standards or clear site of all buildings, structures, debris and leave in graded and leveled condition; standards: Yards must be free of waste, overgrown vegetation, inoperative vehicles/machinery, unsafe containers, ponding water, and health/fire/accident hazards.; enforcement: Officer may order discontinuation or remedial work; City may perform work at owner's expense and recover costs via action or tax roll addition at 15% interest per year..
