Township of Lucan Biddulph
BY-LAW NO. 25-2024
Being a by-law to amend by-law number 26-2023
WHEREAS section 19 of the Development Charges Act, 1997, S.O. 1997, C. 27 (the
"Act") provides for amendments to development charges by-laws;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Township of Lucan Biddulph requires certain
amendments to By-law 26-2023;
AND WHEREAS in accordance with the Act, Bill 185 eliminates the requirement for a
development charge background study as well as the need for a public meeting to make
an amendment to Bylaw 26-2023, and is therefore not provided in the amendment of
this Bylaw;
NOW THEREFORE the Council for the Corporation of the Township of Lucan Biddulph
hereby enacts as follows:
1. Section 14 of By-law 26-2023 is deleted.
2. Section 15 of By-law 26-2023 is renumbered to section 14.
3. Section 16 of By-law 26-2023 is renumbered to section 15.
4. Section 17 of By-law 26-2023 is renumbered to section 16.
5. Section 18 of By-law 26-2023 is renumbered to section 17.
6. Section 19 of By-law 26-2023 is renumbered to section 18.
7. Section 20 of By-law 26-2023 is renumbered to section 19.
8. Section 21 of By-law 26-2023 is renumbered to section 20.
9. Section 22 of By-law 26-2023 is renumbered to section 21.
10. Section 23 of By-law 26-2023 is renumbered to section 22.
11. Section 24 of By-law 26-2023 is renumbered to section 23.
12. Section 25 of By-law 26-2023 is renumbered to section 24 and the text "Section
24" is deleted and replaced with "Section 23"
13. Section 26 of By-law 26-2023 is renumbered to section 25.
14. Section 27 of By-law 26-2023 is renumbered to section 26.
15. Section 28 of By-law 26-2023 is renumbered to section 27.
16. Section 29 of By-law 26-2023 is renumbered to section 28.
17. Section 30 of By-law 26-2023 is renumbered to section 29.
18. Section 31 of By-law 26-2023 is renumbered to section 30.
19. Section 32 of By-law 26-2023 is renumbered to section 31.

25. Section 38 of By-law 26-2023 is renumbered to section 37.
26. Section 39 of By-law 26-2023 is renumbered to section 38 and the text "Section
37" is deleted and replaced with "Section 36" and the text "Section 43" is deleted
and replaced with "Section 42".
27. Section 40 of By-law 26-2023 is renumbered to section 39.
28. Section 41 of By-law 26-2023 is renumbered to section 40.
29. Section 42 of By-law 26-2023 is renumbered to section 41.
30. Section 43 of By-law 26-2023 is renumbered to section 42 and the text "Section
42" is deleted and replaced with "Section 41".
31. Section 44 of By-law 26-2023 is renumbered to section 43 and the text "Section
41" is deleted and replaced with "Section 40".
32. Section 45 of By-law 26-2023 is renumbered to section 44.
33. Section 46 of By-law 26-2023 is renumbered to section 45.
34. Section 47 of By-law 26-2023 is renumbered to section 46.
35. Section 48 of By-law 26-2023 is renumbered to section 47.

57 and 58" is deleted and replaced with "Sections 56 and 57".
48. Section 61 of By-law 26-2023 is renumbered to section 60 and the text "Section
60" is deleted and replaced with "Section 59".
49. Section 62 of By-law 26-2023 is renumbered to section 61 and the text "Section
57" is deleted and replaced with "Section 56".

50. Section 62 b. of By-law 26-2023 is revised by the deletion of the text "Section 57"
and replaced with "Section 56".
51. Section 62 e. of By-law 26-2023 is revised by the deletion of the text "Section 60"
and replaced with "Section 59".
52. Section 63 of By-law 26-2023 is renumbered to section 62 and the text "Section
60" is deleted and replaced with "Section 59".
53. Section 64 of By-law 26-2023 is renumbered to section 63.
54. Section 65 of By-law 26-2023 is renumbered to section 64.
55. Section 66 of By-law 26-2023 is renumbered to section 65.
56. Section 67 of By-law 26-2023 is renumbered to section 66.
57. Section 68 of By-law 26-2023 is renumbered to section 67.
58. Section 69 of By-law 26-2023 is renumbered to section 68.
59. Section 70 of By-law 26-2023 is renumbered to section 69.
60. This by-law shall come into force and effect on June 17th 2024.
