Sets maximum speed limits on named City of Markham highways by schedule: 40 km/h (Schedule A), 50 km/h (Schedule B), 60 km/h (Schedule C) and 30 km/h (Schedule D), effective where the highway is signed under the Highway Traffic Act. The by-law prescribes no general or default limit of its own; it repealed and replaced By-law 105-71.
