unofficial consolidation, the official version is held by the municipal clerk.
If your garbage cannot fit into your garbage cart (with lid closed), please prepare overflow garbage as follows:
* Garbage tags must be affixed to all overflow garbage
* Garbage tags are $4per tag sold in sheets of 5 at various retail locations (see below).
* Max of 5 tagged bags are permitted on garbage day
* Use standard-sized garbage bags (max weight 20 kg, max volume 90 cm x 75 cm)
* Place 2 feet apart from cart or any other objects, not on top of cart
* Old garbage cans may be used as long as the garbage inside is tagged and bagged as above (limit 1 bag per container to ensure collection)
Garbage is collected biweekly. Organics is collected weekly. Using your **green cart** will free up space in your garbage cart and reduce the need to purchase garbage tags. **Click here** for more information on how to prepare your garbage.
